My husband and I sat down and actually communicated today, it's been a long time, we both have some stuff to work on and it will take very slow steps, ans somethings seems like we will never resolve but somethings we can really work on.It's a wait and see kind of thing, I am still not going to come home yet I think we both need to work on our own stuff when we are not in each others faces.I talk to him still everyday and see him 2-3 times a week and it's baby step time. What we have came to so far is that he keeps the duplex beings he can take the bus line and I have the car beings I can't my work has no bus line. I have the chihuahua, and he has the other two doggies and the cat, but I visit them every day after work.Tonight susie the chihuahua is staying the night with her daddy. Not like most people I did not take everything and leave, I am trying to be fair.well that is what is going on with me.

03:57 pm - Your Stripper Name
Dave My husband told me about how to get your stripper name? You take the first name of the first pet you ever had then the name of the first street you ever lived on and put them togather and come out with a name. It all sounds good in theory unless you have a steet that has numbers, but mine in Sunday Sheridan...
What would yours be?

Ruby Bridges

The Federal Court said to desegregate the schools, being it was violating the 14th amendment. On November 14, 1960, Ruby went to William Frantz Elementary school in New Orleans, Louisiana. Ruby Bridges was the first African American to attend an all white school. Ruby was escorted by federal marshalls everyday while she walked into the school. She was the only student in her class, because everyone was protesting the changes outside of the school. School was easier then it could have been, with the support of her loving parents, and her three sisters, and one brother, also her teacher Mrs. Henry, and her phychiatrist Mr. Coles. She had a lot of support in her first grade year.
Sheyann Webb
Sheyann Webb-Christburg, best known as Dr. King's Smallest Freedom Fighter," was the keynote speaker at Missouri Southern's MLK Symposium Program. The petite but feisty woman, currently coordinator of student activities at Alabama State University, recalled the time that led to Bloody Sunday, the first attempted march by freedom fighters across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama. It was March 7, 1965 and Webb-Christburg was only 8 years old. Organized by the Rev. Dr. King and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference as a protest against the murder of civil rights leader Jimmie Lee Jackson by an Alabama state trooper in late February, Webb Christburg passionately described how the march led to chaos and spilled blood.
Merlie Evers
The assassination of 1960's civil rights leader Medger Evers, which was fought in courts for 30 years until it was re-opened in the 1990's with Mississippi D.A. Bobby DeLaughter leading the charge to bring assassin Byron De Lay Beckwith to justice. Merlie Ever's widow who fought for the truth for over 30 years.
Sylvia Browne
Browne is a popular spiritualist who offers psychic consultations, or readings, assisted by a "spirit guide" known as Francine. Browne gained fame through popular appearances on TV and radio talk shows including Montel Williams.Browne often describes herself as being on "a mission from God," saying that she wants to prove the soul survives after death. She also founded a gnostic Christian group known as Novus Spiritus.

Oskar Shindler
Schindler, Oskar (1908-1974), was a German businessman who saved more than 1,200 Jews from almost certain death. Schindler made a fortune on military contracts during World War II (1939-1945) and spent nearly all of it to save Jews from the Holocaust, the Nazi campaign to exterminate them.
In 1943, the Nazis moved Schindler's workers to a labor camp at Paszow, near Krakow. The camp was run by Captain Amon Goeth of the SS, the elite Nazi Party guard. To protect his workers from the hunger and violence at Paszow, Schindler built a branch camp at his factory, where most of his workers lived. When the Russian army approached in 1944, the SS planned to close Paszow and the branch camp and send the inmates to a death camp. Schindler persuaded the Nazis to let him open a new factory at Brunnlitz (now Brnenec, Czech Republic, near Svitavy). He made a list of more than 1,100 Jews whom he wanted to work at the factory. The list became famous as "Schindler's list." Schindler brought about 100 more Jews into the camp in the following months. The Jews at the Brunnlitz camp were freed by the Russian army in 1945. Schindler died on Oct. 9, 1974.
Dr.Martin Luther King
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has inspired people around the world with his message of peaceful resistance and racial equality.
John Muir
He campaigned for a national park in California, and in 1890 Congress approved a bill creating the Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. In 1891 Congress also passed a bill authorizing the setting aside of forest preserves, but opposition by commercial interests forced Muir to continue campaigning to save the forests through speeches and magazine articles, but it was only when he gained the support of President Theodore Roosevelt that any substantial acreage was set aside.
Nelson Mandela
Imagine growing up in a country where drinking out of the wrong water fountain might get you thrown into jail; where a man might have the very same job as his neighbor, but because of the color of his skin, get paid less in a year than the other man made in a week; where the government told you that your ancestors and their ways of living were wrong and savage and not even human.
Sounds like some futuristic film, doesn't it? Well, for Nelson Mandela, this was no movie.
Growing up in South Africa under the Apartheid system of government meant these things, and worse, were part of daily life.
But Nelson Mandela was a fighter. Instead of bowing down to this unjust system of government, he became a lifelong warrior in the battle to free South Africa.
All men and women who died the for our country.

VIRGO
the virgin
August 23-September 22
Virgo...you're the healer.
sign stuff
Your colors are earthy greens, yellows, browns and creams...the colors of nature..
Your gemstones are the opal and peridot. Your zodiacal flowers/plants are the narcissus and herbs.
you love
... making things work, feeling useful, being organized (or not), nature and gardens, animals and pets, people who appreciate you, being prepared for anything important, neatness and style.
you are
...gentle, caring, supportive, health conscious, practical, rational. You're usually an excellent organizer when you want to be, you are giving, loyal and artistic.
your friendship style
You are always there when a friend "really" needs you but you won't let them take advantage of your compassion or your generosity. You give loyalty and you expect loyalty but you won't challenge others when you feel you've been mistreated. You probably are the first one who everyone comes to for help.
your romance style
You have high expectations and excuisite taste in your romantic partner. You seldom make the first move and may wait an eternity for signs that someone likes you. You are shy rather than extroverted UNTIL...you feel totally comfortable in a partner's affections and then you flash your wild and exotic side.
your best assets...
...your intelligence, your integrity, your healing gifts, your ability to know what needs to be done, your focus and determination, your work ethics, your stability and your compassion.
most misunderstand...
.. how deeply you want to be appreciated for the things you do, how much you care about others, how far you're willing to go to make sure that those you love are safe and healthy, your shyness and your vulerabilities.

My friend Shawn called today and I have not heard from her in a while, the last time I saw her she was using meth and had her two youngest kids taken away. When I talked to her today it was like talking to a whole new person, she had been clean for 5 or 6 monthes and is in this inpatient treatment and has group and intensive therpy.I am going to talk to her again tomorrow I think she called me because she needs a friend that is drug free.I am just causous of her because of our past and she had been a bad friend from time to time and says and does things that hurt me in some way or another and I am not sure if she know realizes it or not, and we go monthes without talking then we talk and all seems to be fine, a weird relationship her and I have.I try to let the past be past but a bit stays in the back of my mind,I also know that I am one few possitive people in her life, lets just hope if i get involved in her life again Idon't get burned.
